I had a forceps delivery 7 weeks ago. No episiotomy (no time!) but second degree tearing both internally and externally resulting in a lot of stitches. Also sustained damage to my urethra, I assume due to being catheterised whilst birthing a child with a head like a melon.
Everything seems to have healed remarkably well. I can still feel what I assume are stitches (rather than just scar tissue) but there's been no pain or discomfort since about 4 days pp.
When am I safe to cycle again? No one seems to be able to tell me!
