Itchy and achy breast

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this is a bit graphic, but my left nipple is constantly itchy and breast is achy. There is nothing visible to see on the skin - no rash or redness. It seems to be consistent throughout the month.

Any ideas? I’m going to pop to the doctors on Friday but curious if anyone has experienced this?

As far as I'm aware (and I'm by no means a doctor or health professional) itchy nipples can be completely normal, and not usually a sign of anything sinister. Always best to get checked out by GP if you're worried.

That’s good - it’s just been going on for months - I will stay away from Google!

Its good that you're going to the GP but yeah, don't start googling it or you'll scare yourself silly! I'm sure its nothing, but at least you'll find out ASAP if it needs further investigation. Flowers

Pain is very rarely something problematic, usually just hormones.
I'd always say to check with GP though, usually get an ultrasound or mammogram to double check if they refer you on

I get itchy boobs/nipple on and off. It comes and goes and I ignore it.
