Ablation and the coil!

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of the above? I’ve suffered with fibroids for many years and get fed up of my life being on hold every month, due to heavy periods. I’ve been offered the above but read and heard very mixed reviews. I don’t really fancy the coil at my age (48) many thanks in advance.

I had the IUD which fell out due to the fibroids. So I had the ablation but I carried on having the same heavy periods. So I have the coil in again

The ablation was fine but it failed for me. The coil is fine but it failed and my new one is annoying me atm. Overall I have slightly less bleeding but still anaemic

I have friends who were ablated and it worked for them and they have never been happier!
