Hello, had a mammogram last week. My third one, luckily I've been part of the earlier age roll out of mammograms. Previous two find, this time I've been invited back.
I'm scared - lost a dear friend two years ago to breast cancer and have recently found out that my mother has terminal cancer due to not telling anyone she had found a lump (has mental health issues) and leaving it to long.
I'm scared ..... I know many people get called back, but I don't want to have to put my DD (13) through the grief and I want to be there for her for a very long time. My DH is doing his best to reassure me it'll be ok.
But I'm scared. Any positive stories out there??
