Periods on mini pill?

Not sure if this is the right board but hopefully someone will be able to help!

I've been on the mini pill for over 3 years now and not had a period in this time. I forgot to take it two days in October ish and caught up the next day as that's what my instructions say to do. I had a light period a few weeks later, I think because it threw me out of whack.

I now feel like I'm getting another period even though I haven't missed any pills since the time in October. I'm a bit confused about the fact periods now seem to be starting up again after years of nothing and now two in the space of around 6/8 weeks..

Has anyone had experience of this? I have an appointment with the nurse in a few weeks about something else so can check with her then but just wondered in the meantime.

I came off the mini pill because of problems like this, I just wouldn't have any periods for a while, then I'd have a few in a month, then it settled down to me having a little 'pre' period before my actual period. Drove me mad, how on Earth are you supposed to know if you're pregnant or where you are in your cycle?

Glad it's not just me at least! I did wonder if I was pregnant last time because I had missed some days and then was having the period but did a test which came back negative so now I'm just confused again.
