Periods lighter and bleeding between periods

I have always had heavy periods, even had a scan 8 years ago to check all was ok as they were so heavy but over the last 6 months they have been getting lighter witg my last period hardly having any bleeding. I have also been suffering with light bleeding between periods too. Anybody have any ideas why this would be happening?

You need up to date test results, anything done over six months ago should be discounted.

Such changes should always be reported to the GP and if this person is unsure I would be asking about a referral to a gynae.

Has anything changed in your life?
Mine went from heavy to very light about 6 months after coming off all contraception. Also had a pre bleed about a week or so before my period.

No nothing has changed.

Hi, I've had the implant inserted in June 2018. Since then I've bled constantly and heavy on off with clots. I've put on a great deal of weight since insertion also. I've seriously low mood, fatigue. Been told to give it Time to adjust to my body. I can't take much more of it. If it stops, it's only for a day or 2 at most. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks jojo
