Considering these as new option for periods, there are a bunch of brands out there, wondered what people had tried, what are they like. Was wondering how they can be breathable and if they give you thrush?

My DD has got Modibodi ones. She says they are great for heavy flow overnight.
Washing them out is a bit yucky but she doesn't mind that.

Very impressed with my black lacy Cheeky Wipes ones.

Thank you, can they last during a working day do you reckon?

I want to know more about these! Not heard of them before.

JellyonToast · 30/12/2018 15:57

I bought some by Diary Doll but think they have folded ( the company) and not heard of any others.

The ones I have, have a waterproof lining up the front and down the back. I have never worn them on their own, always with normal pants and a pad underneath. You have to wear a pad or tampon with them- they aren't a nappy!

I always wear mine with a pad as I can go through a pair of Tena pants in an hour Blush. I’ve not had any leaks day or night.

MySkirtHasPockets · 31/12/2018 15:31

Oooh I'm so tempted, not sure about wearing two pairs of pants but it might be worth it to avoid the fear of flooding!

I’ve just bought some Modibodi ones (they’re Australian but they’re available in the UK). I’m really happy with them. Super comfy (I normally wear massive granny pants and these were equally comfy) and I like the security of using them, I didn’t even bother with my Mooncup last period. No need for any other sanpro when wearing them.

SellFridges · 31/12/2018 15:39

I’ve bought some Modibodi too. So far I have stuck with my usual pads for the first day and then switched to these. No leaks at all so far and very comfortable. I’m impressed.

Thanks all, really helpful. The ones I’m looking at would be the sort you don’t need anything else with. Modibodi sound good!!
