Older sis is recently having problems with her bowels, she’s had lots of test done and as now been told she as weak bowel muscles!

She can’t go out most days till she’s been to empty bowels which can be anything from 3-5 times. Ending in diarrhoea.
She as recently started having accidents outside, she is mortified by this and to say embrassed is an understatement.

So I want to help her to get some decent underwear that helps this, not nhs . I want her to feel safe and dignified whilst out knowing if she had an accident she would feel a little safer with some good quality underwear.

So question is, do you know of any??

I don’t know specifically I’m afraid, but I wonder if a bowel cancer charity website might have advice, or discussion threads like this? This was a problem for my friend after bowel cancer and I know she got a lot of practical guidance from their website/ communities.
Best wishes to you & your sister

Depends are comfier than tenna but are a bit bulkier. Ignore always etc they are too small to feel reassuring.

I've tried these and I'm really happy with them

OP I would recommend Tena pants with pads (I over laxified myself once and had bowel incontinence for a week!) and they let NOTHING out.

Only downside is that they are slightly bulky, but are really trustworthy!
