Negative tests late period

I took the morning after pill 5 days before ovulation, I have none of my usual period symptoms such as cramps. My periods are very regular, When I was 4 days late for my period I took a test which was negative, I am now 10 days late and took another test which was also negative! Has anyone got any advice of what could be happening?

well, I'm no expert on the MAP but my guess is that it may not have worked because any sperm could have still been alive 5 days after you took it (and you can't be sure you ovulated bang on the day you think) and it is possible you could be pregnant. Does the MAP pill prevent implantation once an egg is fertilised, but not actually fertilisation?

It could be too early for a PG test to show- thought it was best to wait till 14 days late?
