Pain in moo after sex

charlie2712 · 15/12/2018 20:11

Me and my partner had sex earlier today and afterwards I had this shooting pain which I still have that feels like it is in the top. Really hurts when I walk and can't get comfortable. Has anyone else experienced this after sex? Worried but could be nothing. Any info would be great thanks in advance

Where’s the pain?

Holidayshopping · 16/12/2018 11:50

Should this be in ‘addiction support’?

Yes, why addiction support? Maybe request moving it to general health?

FestiveNut · 16/12/2018 11:52

@Paxotank where I live, a moo is a cow. Grin

Your ‘moo’?? Hmm

gamerchick · 16/12/2018 12:00

It's like one bang of the cervix in the right place? Fucking agonising.

If it happens again go to the GUM clinic for a full screen. Regular pain high up like that during and after sex I found was caused by Chlamydia.

May not be the case with you just something to think about if it keeps happening.

novawinter · 16/12/2018 12:14

Moo!? If your worried go to see a dr. But please do not say Moo to him. It's called your vagina or pelvis

ballsdeep · 16/12/2018 12:16

Are you daisy the cow?

JinglingHellsbells · 16/12/2018 19:29

what on earth is a moo?

I've never ever heard that used for a vagina.

SoyDora · 16/12/2018 19:30

Where is the pain?

OP i am with you on that pain!! Without sounding too forward, I want to ask you a couple of questions...
During intercourse, were you lying flat on your stomach?
During intercourse were you aware of you tensing your abdomen muscles at any point at all?

I've had that exact pain before, it left me near paralysed in bed, this was post sex after I had gone to the bathroom. Its not happened more than 4 times in the last 6 months or so, but the times it has happened there seems to be a pattern of where you're positioned and how you're using your muscles. Its not quite like menstrual cramps, but its like a side stitch, only in your cervix area. From my understanding this is due to those muscles contracting very hard and becoming almost locked into place, like if you twist the wrong way and your back muscles become strained. Some of the pain may radiate further down around your back end area.

The best thing I ever did to ease this pain was lying on one of my sides, hot water bottle and sips of a warm drink. This basically just makes your brain send signals to your muscles to relax. Hope this helps
