Mid Cycle Pain

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar to this / has any idea what it may be.

I had a baby 12 months ago. My period returned at 9 weeks and I think it was normal (I don't recall any issues). At 12 weeks I had a copper coil fitted. As expected my periods were very heavy (clothes ruined every time I came on) and painful. This took longer than the 3 cycles promised to resolve, but did ease up a bit.

I'm still left with heavier periods but the pain has returned to normal on my actual period.

Mid cycle though I've now got some odd symptoms. I get sharp pain during ovulation and spotting which id assume is ovulation bleeding / cramps, but I read that only effects 3% of women so it seems odd. Also odd I haven't had it prior.

After sex there's bad cramping and tiny traces of blood sometimes.

I track my cycle in an app and am only getting about a week from each cycle where I'm pain free and not spotting. I don't have any UTI symptoms and have had wee tested.

The pain is often where my kidney is on the right side, although that's how it feels to me ... It could be further inside an ovary related. I actually thought I had another kidney stone, as pain obviously isn't as severe as renal colic but when a stone was lodged just on the way out the kidney it felt eerily similar (have had a CT scan and confirmed no stones).

Although I get period cramp pain throughout the month too. The 'kidney' pain is around the time the app says I'm ovulating, so mid cycle although this is purely a prediction.

In addition to the pain throughout the month around my period, my hormones are all over the place. I am finding my mood is effected for a lot more than the few days of PMS I used to get.

I know an online forum isn't going to be able to give me the answer but I'd be interested to hear if this sounds familiar to anyone and what it was. Thank you.

Should add I had my smear done after pregnancy and that was all clear.
