Morning after pill...negative test...incredibly tender breasts

I took the morning after pill 3 weeks ago. For the last 4 days I've had really tender, painful breasts. (Not unusual for me mid- cycle, but not to this extent)
I've taken 2 pregnancy tests which were both negative, has anyone else experienced this?
Is it just the large dose of hormones that are causing it?

The MAP Always pulled this crap with me. Screwed up my cycles for a few month as well. Horrible pill it is.

I've not had to take it for ages - the last time was about 15 years ago so I can't remember any side effects.
Agree it's an awful pill, but was a necessary evil this time.
