I've found a lump, what do I do?

Sorry for TMI first of all but I have nobody to talk to Irl about this so I want to make sure I'm not overreacting before I book an appointment.

I noticed a lump a couple of weeks ago in my groin. It's about the size of a marble, is not painful at all, is not discoloured. Doesn't appear to be an ingrown hair, doesn't have a head like a spot or anything it's just a hard lump about the size of a marble.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Does it move? Its likely just something like a cyst but I would be making a GP appointment to get it checked out. You aren't overreacting getting it checked - a lump of any kind needs to be checked out.

Bartholin cyst? Depends on exact location but they're fairly common I think. Still needs checking out obviously but might put your mind at rest to google it and see if symptoms fit Flowers

Probably nothing but get it checked. I get lumps all over my arms and legs, annoying but harmless so don't worry too much

I have a few. I was told if they are smooth and mobile can push them around it’s nothing to worry about. They have been there years. Obviously get them checked for your own peace of mind
