I had an emergency c section 6 weeks ago. I had moderate bleeding for 4 weeks following which over the time got lighter and lighter until it stopped. I then went onto have heavy snot like discharge for about 5 days and then started to bleed again. This time it started lightly and has got very heavy with an occasional small clot. It's now heavier than the bleeding was after first having the baby and am finding it hard to stop it leaking outside the larger pads. I've not had any pain but it's now been like this just over a week. I don't see my GP for another week for my post natel appointment and can't get one sooner. Does this sound like I'm still bleeding from the birth or could it be my 1st period?
