Anyone know what this could be?

Finished my pill pack and had my period last week mon-fri during the 7pill free days.

Ever since Monday morning I've had small amounts of brown spotting/discharge and had to wear panty liners all day everyday accompanied w/ cramps & bad nausea. (Especially in the afternoons/evenings).

It's finally seemed to stop today, I'm going to try and get a doctors appointment in the morning as this has never happened before after my period plus the pain and nausea were so bad!

Quick google suggests early pregnancy- surely this can't be as I've just had my period? Also took a test yesterday which came back negative.

Anyone got any suggestions? I'm honestly baffled. I've never had anything like it! Still got a bit of stomach pain at the moment but higher up in my stomach.

Well you can't be pregnant because you're on the pill? Anyway, it's probably the pill itself causing it. Hormones are funny things. It is odd though I agree with you. If you're still bleeding after the weekend just pop to the GP and ask. It can't hurt right. Smile

Do you have any shoulder pain? Look up eptopic pregnancy just to see if anything matches.
You can still get pregnant on the pill.
I get spotting randomly though so it may be nothing, maybe visit the GP if worried?

@ArwenEdwards I know, apparently a small amount of woman do get pregnant on the pill- and I am usually really good with taking it but the past few months have been a bit bad with taking it on time. (Still took it every day though).

I'm feeling nauseas too, which is why I worried pregnancy, it's always in the afternoon and evening? Bleeding stoped completely yesterday but the nausea is unbearable, I can't even finish my lunch usually. (Used to be a big eater!)

Salty vegetables are my favourite at the moment though, always wanting them. Help the nausea for some reason.

@EarlyWalker no, no shoulder pain (no more than the usual aches from yoga and sleeping weirdly!😂).

I've never had spotting before so that's why it flagged up as a red sign that something wasn't right to me. (Also tmi- been having so much discharge lately over the past month).
