I was diagnosed with endometriosis at age 29 (after being fobbed off for years).
I've had 3 laps since. Fortunately, been able to have 3 children.
I am now 36. I have done extended breastfeeding (youngest is nearly 3) as she wanted to continue, and to be honest it has helped control my endo.
She is gradually reducing feeds now (which is fine) and I can feel my symptoms coming back. In particular, period is due next week and I feel like I am coming down with a virus and will do all week.
So any fellow sufferers I would be grateful if you have tried anything that works? Diet, supplements, medication?
Exercise why I currently have a damaged knee so am limited.
I would have see a gynae to go on combined pill as I am now over 35 and my GP won't prescribe over 35. I can't have Minera because of a uterus abnormality.
Gynae after last lap said he would advise a hysterectomy, but I am reluctant at this age to have such a major op, but again if you had it did it resolve all your problems?
