As my thread title says, I've got a GP appointment as I have symptoms which might indicate endometriosis. I really want my symptoms to be taken seriously. I don't want my age to be used as an reason, I don't want to feel like I'm wasting an appointment and I don't want to leave with just a prescription for pain killers. How do I get the Dr to take me seriously? Any advice gratefully received.
