Hi

Just wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with fibroids.
I am seeing the doctor on Friday but after extensive research
I pretty much think i do have them

I have had a long prolonged period and sorry if tmi but had clots too.

I have always had heavy periods and have always been erratic.

I'm also trying not to make myself go mad and worry about other things it could be! 😞

I have. They never had an impact on me though.

When I had my 12 week scan last year.

She just said oh you have quite a few fibroids

Hi have, they were discovered at my 12 week scan with my 2nd baby. It grew to a humongous size and I was frequently monitored through out the pregnancy. Booked in for a c section but my boy arrived very quickly at home with no pain relief. Then all was fine while I breast fed him until July 2018 ( 11 months) Fast forward to now November 2018 with him being 14 months they’ve returned with a vengeance. Hideous bleeding it’s massive the size of a melon ( at its biggest when feeding off my pregnancy hormones it was the size of a watermelon 😮) I’m
Uncomfortable, in pain and stressed. I feel abandoned ( I was always told to deal with the pregnancy first but nothing the fibroid itself. I am awaiting a gynaecologist appointment in a few weeks and just want it taken out but now stressing how we’ll cope after a hysterectomy.

I have. It's agony. They won't do anything about it.

I have. Weakened after two years of heavy periods. Anemia and house bound during periods. Facing embolisation though still unsure I shouldn't fo for hysterectomy or just ride the storm till menopause. Keep us posted @c0wgirl and good luck
