Smear results job positive

Just had my letter through and it said positive hpv.
Please tell me this isn't bad??!

It says retest within a year.

Please help.

Where about based are you?

I’m having a colposcopy next Thursday as have low grade abnormal cells and HR HPV.

Retesting within a year means not bad and they will leave and see if your body will fight HPV on it’s own.
