Adding to my constant anxiety, I’ve just found a tiny lump at the top of my breast this morning. Sat in the doctors waiting to be seen. Not sure I can take much else. I’ve never checked my breasts properly and I’m so scared. I have a 9 month old little boy at home and I’m only 34. Sat here shaking.

I’m 23 and found a hard, immovable breast lump right into the side of my right breast. I was shitting myself. I went straight to the doctors and she said she could feel a hard lump too. I was referred as urgent to the breast clinic where I had another examination and an ultrasound. Turns out it was just hard thick tissue that might always be there, it might go away but it was absolutely nothing. Don’t be worried, whatever it is it’s good that you got to the doctors quickly and you will get sorted. Best of luck x

Thank you for your reply, glad everything was ok with you. the trouble with me is I’ve just had a baby and not checked myself for months because I’ve pretty much had lots of other things on my mind, so now I’m thinking that I’ve left it too long and it’s spread. Then every ache pain symptom is adding up in my head and thinking the worst. X
