Colposuspension advice

Hello

Could anyone who has had open Colposuspension please give me some information?

I'm in my early 30s. I've had trouble since having a forced birth with bladder incontinence for the last 5 years which is getting me down daily. I've been to physio for over a year now with progress but not enough.

The consultant has suggested Colposuspension pending the results from a urodynamic study. I've also been told to lose some weight.

It sounds quite risky and I'm worried. Can anyone shed some light who has been through this?

Thanks

Hi, not sure if you received any advice or if you have had your operation? I’m in my mid 50’s and my incontinence is worse than ever, I have had various treatments before ...physio etc but now I’m considering going to see a consultant to discuss a colposuspension....

Any advice,

Thanks Smile
