Hi
I've had similar problems with heavy bleeding last few weeks and ended up in A&E, then admitted for a double transfusion. Although had some issues before, I've had nothing like this.
Basically 2 months ago I had the Mirena fitted - when in hospital with all these problems this Mirena could not be found - v strange. I've still got another scan to see where it's gone, but based on this experience I wouldn't get another. I'm getting better now through taking iron, northesterone and transansamic acid. Hope you find solution, but go to Dr if things don't improve Smile

How strange I no if they are not fitted properly can just fall out .. could this of happened maybe ? I would never have on again !! Yes back to the doctors I live there at the moment but never really give you any answers and send you away with pain killers .. did you have the Mirena coil to treat anything?

Just to treat slightly heavy periods, but didn't work. Though I've had it before and was okay the first time. It may have fallen out - will know more after scan. I know if people have persistent problems they sometimes offer ablation or hysterectomy, but obviously as a last resortSmile
