I'm thinking (hopefully) very prematurely here as I'm only 30 but interested. I can't take oestrogen related contraception due to migraine, in fact I'm on no hormonal contraceptive. What will I be able to have therefore during the menopause because surely that includes HRT.

Shock !!!

You've got 20+ years most likely before you need think of this! Why are you worrying now?

Anyway- the estrogen in HRT is EXACTLY the same as your own- very different to the Pill- so you will be able to use it and migraine is not a reason not to. (Check with the Migraine Trust and it says there.)

You might not need or want to take anything in menopause. Not every woman has a horrible time of it. I have manageable hot flushes and the occasional melt down but otherwise, knock on wood, I’m holding steady. Wishing the same for you, OP! Smile
