Perimenopause/ Menopause Symtoms

Can anyone help me with symptoms they may have experienced re Perimenopause or menopause. I had a endometrial ablation about 3yrs ago , so no periods, I am waking up with a rush feeling from my waist to the top of my head, if I don't get up it keeps doing it, I have also had it happen whilst up during the night and through the day, my BP has been high ( on meds for that now) , Mood swings , no night sweats but have had sweaty moments during the day. Mostly It's this rush feeling I get at night that wakes me up, has anyone else had that? Oh and forgetting things, I haven't been able to find my car key the past week, I have put it down and now I don't know where it is, absent minded as well .....I'm 49.

The short answer is this is all peri meno. If you are able to use HRT that should sort it out. See your GP.

Re the BP , I have recently started on the medication , the past 3 weeks, it's been regular adjustments in that time frame, yes to diet etc. I actually thought at first it was the BP that was causing the other symptoms, but now the BP has settled down, I still have the other symptoms. I guess I'll be having a chat about that with my Dr.
