I had a massive pelvic floor repair three-months ago. I previously had a total hysterectomy.
I keep getting short episodes of red blood, often when I have a bowel movement - I am not constipated so there is no straining. There is just a bit of blood, like a cut finger and it does stop.
I have been back to my consultant and to my GP. Both say it can happen occasionally. My GP gave me a short course of antibiotics just in case it was an infection.
Has anyone else had experience of this?? It doesn't seem right to me, but I don't know anyone who has had this operation to ask what their experience was.
