Blood from urethra when on period, anyone else?

I have recently started using a menstrual cup, with a pad also just in case of any leaks.

I have noticed that I am definitely bleeding from the urethra, from the shape of the patch of blood and placement on the pad.

I was wondering whether it's normal to bleed from the urethra as well as vagina when on your period? Or if it's something I should be concerned about?

I have tried to Google this, but apparently it's just me.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

It's very very unlikely unless you have endometriosis. Do you know if you have?

Is it not more likely that the shape of your vulva is funnelling leakages to the same spot, regardless of where they come from so it just seems like blood is coming from your urethra?

I agree with PP.

Many women's urethras are almost in their vagina- mine is- so it's more likely it's leaking from the cup.
