I've been on the mini pill since I had my dtr 6 years ago. Firstly it was cerazette then a few years ago they changed me to Cerelle.
I've had my regular smear tests, last one was fine. I went for one last week and the nurse couldn't do it, she said my cervix was closed (not pregnant) and that she had to refer me to the hospital to have it done.
She said my cervix was probably closed as the mini pill stops my periods, so it would only open if I was having a period. Now, I'm a bit confused by this as the last one wasn't a problem and I've never heard such a thing.
Getting myself really worked up and worried now. Has anyone any experience of this?
