Mirena coil: vaginal burning, itching and loss of libido

Hi everyone,

Has anyone had an mirena coil fitted and experienced vaginal itching, burning (and therefore sore after sex) and loss of libido?

Two doctors have said that the IUD can't be the cause of any of the above but the anecdotal evidence suggests otherwise. Makes me feel like I'm going crazy!

I'm on my 4th mirena so 15+ years and not experienced any of the issues you've mentioned. Sorry. I know that's probably not helpful

No I've not had that either and I'm on my 3rd Mirena. I'd be more worried that I'd picked up an infection with those symptoms TBH.
