Hi,
I'm 20 and recently found out I'm 6/7 weeks pregnant. This morning I had some brown ish spotting, I've been to a&e and they reckon I am fine (didn't scan etc) and have gave me the number for early pregnancy unit which I'm waiting on a call back, just wondered if anyone could give me any more info on this, was very worried earlier but since seeing the nurse I've been put at ease a bit,

Thanks.

I had this early on with both my pregnancies. Both were fine. As long as it stays a brown colour, then don’t worry yourself unnecessarily but you are totally doing the right thing by contacting the EPU. Good luck x

Thank you so much, the early pregnancy unit contacted me (over 24 hours later!!) and have booked me in for a scan on Friday to check everything's okay! X

Oh that’s good news then. I remember I had to wait over a week to be seen when it happened to me. But by that point I’d had no more brown discharge so I wasn’t as worried. You should see the little heartbeat when you have your early scan. Let us know how you get on, good luck x

Just out of my appointment, everything fine and healthy! Found out we're 6 weeks not 8. Thank you for your help 😊
