My coil has been in well over 5 years so overdue to be removed but it’s stuck so I have to have a mini op. Meanwhile, I wondered if some of the symptoms I have could be caused by the coil ( I had some bleeding a while ago & the gynae nurse said that was probably because of the coil). Also getting tiredness & nausea. Can anyone identify with this?

Yes!! The coil has bern very mixed for me. Just had my third put in and it needs to be replaced as its sitting too low. Ive had issues with bleeding and investigations have revealed no issues.scans and smears.

Im in two minds as to what to do if im honest.

My coil has been both a blessing and a curse

Tiredness & nausea? Have you tried POAS?

tigercub50 · 08/10/2018 18:37

Really feeling quite poorly ( headaches, bit dizzy, queasy, very sleepy). Having a scan on Thursday then I’ll get an appointment for the mini op so will mention my symptoms then
