Post Hysterectomy...

Hello ladies

Another question on hysterectomy. I had a laparoscopic total hysterectomy with eviction of right ovary six weeks ago.

I have a (likely) stupid paranoia that my endometriosis was all in my head. It’s so blooming hard to get diagnosed and I had my op privately after seeking a few different opinions. The stupid part of me says that they did the op to shut my up....

My lab report showed endo, adenomyosis and a fibroid. I’m definitely feeling better and pleased I won’t have horrendous periods anymore. I’m having some hot flushes which may or may not mean remaining ovary hasn’t woken up from a recent GNRH.

So.... to the problem. I still have pretty bad right sided paid. Which prior to my op I had assumed was due to scarred right ovary which had a history of cysts. I’m now a bit paranoid that I’ve had one ovary needlessly removed and perhaps the other has now failed. I’m 36.

On one hand I feel six weeks isn’t that long.... on the other hand, I think it’s long enough to see an improvement and a bit of a worry to still have the same pain.

Did anyone else experience this? Is it healing pain? Phantom? Or perhaps something else entirely?!

Thank you in advance! X
