Is it painful?
I have a dislocated rib that popped out similar to that but it was excruciating (at first)

@sadnessin No pain at all, sometimes my chest feels heavy though it’s hard and doesn’t move

Have you had it long? I think GP is a good shout

I've had one like that for about 18 months, although mine is smaller. It was diagnosed as costochondritis although I had no pain. A few months after the lump appearing I did start to have pain, I had a scan and again costochondritis was diagnosed. The pain went away a few weeks later and it was managed with anti-inflammatory medication. The lump is still there now but gives me no trouble.

Yes. My husband had a similar lump there. Was his rib. It had been displaced by cancer in his chest cavity. Very very unlikely but definitely worth checking out. Don't want to worry you but please get it checked soon.

I’ve been to GP she diagnosed Costochondritis, but I have no pain which is why I doubted it was that.

Does it move when you're lying down?

@Rungirl42, I know this is an old thread but was it Costochondritis in the end? Did the lump disappear?
