Just wondering whether anyone here has had these injections and if so how did you find it? I have endometreosis and suffer with terrible back pain, not just when I'm on my period but a lot of other times. I had an ovarian cyst removed a couple of years ago along with my fallopian tube and ovary and for some reason have suffered more since then.

I had my hospital appointment this week (that I've waited five months for) and he gave me an injection of Zoladex to put me into the menopause, I can have three of these, then a month off and then I need to weigh up whether the quality of my life is better on or off the injections. Just looking for other peoples experience on this really although I appreciate that everyone will react in a different way. TIA

I had these for about 5 years a few years back, but full time with no breaks (different medical condition). Periods stopped almost straight away. Menopause symptoms for the first few months but that tailed off. Medium loss of bone density in that time, which has since recovered despite having a baby. Overall trouble free. Back on them again as of last month. Looking forward to no more periods and going to be keeping a close eye on diet and exercise to maintain bone density.

Yes they are only letting me be on them for three months due to loss of bone density etc, five years is a long time to be on them. I have fubroids too which it is also good for I believe. Thank you, nice to know you didn't have too many issues on it :) I keep waiting for the hot flushes to appear, but really hoping they stay away.

Hot flushes were a pain but relatively short lived. Desk fan and lots of layers 👍🏻
Hope it goes well for you.
Ps love the name Grin
