Hi, I'm hoping you lovely ladies can give me some advice.

I am 40 years old and I have been having the depo injection since the birth of my daughter in May 2015.

For the past few months I've been having problems with sweating, I mean really, really badly.

For example, I can be sat on the sofa watching telly and I can feel it running down my face and my hair constantly feels wet on the top of my head.
I carry tissues round with me all the time so I can 'mop' my face Confused

The sweating is all over my body, not just my face and its happening ALL the time, regardless of what I am doing, or not doing.

I have spoken to my nurse about it when I've gone for my 3 monthly injection and asked if it could be a sign of the menopause but she seemed very vague and not interested.

I've not had a period in over 3 years because of the depo injection so I can't even take those into account.

If it's not the menopause what could it be? I feel very uncomfortable being out in public, due to my clothes always being damp/wet under my arms and down my back and having beads of sweat forming on my forehead all the time. It is making me very, very self conscious.
I just don't know what to do to make things better, especially as my nurse doesn't seem concerned or willing to help.
I've always had sweaty problems but these last 6-8 months have gone to the extremes.
I wake up at least once every night and have to change my nightclothes because they are wet through.

Thank you to anyone that as read this far and I look forward to receiving any advice that will help

Xx

Sorry op no real advice but I I 45 and get terrible night sweats. Driclore worked for me for under arm sweating and I also changed to proper soap (bars) for showering. Are you drinking lots of water? Natural fibres for clothing? Go back to the doc and insist they take you seriously. If not menopause could it be thyroid?
