Morning everyone,
I have 2 children, both born by c section.
Yesterday I went to hospital to have the Mirena Coil fitted and unfortunately it couldn't be done. The consultant tried for over 20mins and couldn't get it in. She got a more senior consultant to try and she couldn't either.
They tried to dilate me but again failed to get it in.
I now have to have a general anaesthetic to have it fitted. Has anyone else had this done?
They have also found a 6cm cyst on my ovary, which is causing me a great deal of pain, and I also have endometriosis.
The consultant said I'm at risk of torsion. Has this happened to anyone? I'm a nervous wreck now!
