Hi all, I had unprotected sex with my partner last night 08/09/18, I knew my Nexplanon implant was due to be removed in Sept, but did not know what date. I have just checked and it's due for removal tomorrow 😱 how long after it being due to come out is it still effective ? I really don't want to get pregnant again 🙄 tia x

As it's due for removal tomorrow it's fine as long as you get it switched :)

provided after you get it removed tomorrow you get another one or switch to a different contraception you should be fine I believe but no harm in asking a sexual health nurse :)
