Hey guys basically looking for advice or reassurance. I have two questions, first is that I got the implant (Nexplanon) fitted on day 5 of my last cycle, I had sex on day one of my period, then again on day 5 after the fitting. We used a condom both times. Now my period is late, my cycle is usually 32-35 days and stays regular, but today is day 37. Is it likely that its my implant that is causing these period changes, I was worried so I took a test this morning and it was negative, I know its unlikely as we used protection and it wasn't in my fertile window. Please tell me if this is just my implant messing up my cycle, or should I be worried.
I have other symptoms
Needing to urinate but nothing coming out,
stomach cramps,
back pain (in should blade area),
increased gas, belching and burping,
And a cold that's lasted over 3 weeks, a productive cough and runny/clogged nose
if anyone has any ideas if these things are related or what they could be or why my period is late I would be grateful
