Hi Ladies,
In a nutshell, the reason I am asking this is two-fold:
- I am currently on Microgynon and have been for over 2 years. Not only have I gained weight since taking it, it has also affected my mood. When I recently saw my Dr for a smear, she also advised me that as I am smoking it is not the best option for me and I am booked in to see her for a review in a few weeks.
- I am due to get married next year, after which my fiancée and I are keen to start trying for a baby (smoking will 100% stop for pregnancy). I hear that it is should be much easier to get pregnant after the mini-pill as it does not affect oestrogen levels like the combined pill does.
So, ladies… who has used the mini pill? Is it effective? Can get pregnant quickly when you come off it?
