Did you have them removed? What did the gynaecologist recommend afterwards?
Last year I had uterine polyps removed. It was recommended that I have the mirena, which I refused. Unfortunately, they grew back and a couple of weeks ago I had to have them removed again. I’ve been told by the gynaecologist that I ‘have’ to have the mirena to prevent them growing back again and I’ve been given a date to have one inserted at the end of the month, even though I’ve said I don’t want anything hormonal.
Has anyone been in this situation and what did you do to prevent the polyps returning?
