Hi ladies, just wondering if anyone can recommend anything for troublesome facial skin? I had spots as a teenager and it kind of evolved into just greasy, rough, porous skin prone to spots. I feel like I look so unhealthy! The only time it's ever felt smooth or clean was during pregnancy 1, second pregnancy gave me acne! It improves with blazing sunshine but that's not so reliable... I've tried lots of different washes, toner etc and they all dry me out whilst somehow leaving me spotty and greasy. Tried antibiotics too, the pill and creams. Just wondered if anyone has a good trick up their sleeve? Trying just for some kind of pick me up, since my post pregnancy tummy, hair and boobs are just all kinds of...erm... unexpected! :-) thank you x

No real advice but watching with interest OP. I’m 33 in 2 weeks time and still getting spots as much now as 20 years ago. Was told this would stop!!

Oh I'm sorry you have the same bother! It does make me quite self conscious. I don't like anybody to touch my face at all. In case they get the hand gel out afterwards...

Also watching with interest. I never got many spots as a teen but since turning 30 I always have some on my face and chest, getting really bad around my period. Am so fed up but don't know where to start really.

I’m 32 and I also have bad skin but I started using Dermalogica range and it’s not as bad as it used to be. Evening primrose oil is good for hair and nails and skin too

Hey everyone I have terrible skin that gets really red outbursts and goes through funny phases of being oily and then dry then back to oily etc! I use Liz Earle cleanse and polish and then lush magnaminty face mask for the stubborn little buggers that won't move. Seems to help calm it all back down again!

Have you been to your doctor? I was concerned mine would think I was a tome waster but they were happy to prescribe something to help
