TMI, and long so as not to drip feed anything, sorry.
For the past 6 months I've been bleeding after sex and masturbation, only a little bit but for a month now it's ramped up.
I had my normal period for a week and had sex with my OH when that finished, which seemed to almost trigger another period which lasted 3 weeks. We had sex a few days later on the 11th August and on the 14th August I masturbated (clitoral) and immediately afterwards I had very intense cramping.
This intense cramping has now lasted 7 days but without any bleeding, at some points I can't even stand up as it's too painful. The pain has never gone away but it has dulled down at times so that I am able to get on and do things, however it seems to be more painful after I've been to the toilet.
The only way to describe it is that it initially it felt like my pelvic area was swollen so much that it was pushing against the skin but now it feels as though it's constantly contracting.
I went to the walk in at the gynaecology department yesterday and saw the doctor. I have a coil in and they said that that was in the correct position and was fine and that my cervix looked healthy however they can see a bit of an infection (BV) and have given me some pessary cream to use each night for that for the next week. However they said that the BV does not explain my bleeding and cramping and to come back in 2 weeks for another appointment.
After the doctor used the speculum yesterday the pain has gotten a lot more intense and I've woken up today in so much pain, I haven't been able to stand up for very long and have been doubled over and in tears with an intense stabbing pain on the right side of my pelvic area which keeps going down my right leg and sometimes giving me pain in stomach as well.
I just don't know what to do anymore and how to make it stop, does anyone have any ideas or has this happened to anyone else?
