Best time for LH and FSH bloods?

As the subject says really, when is the best time in cycle to get LH and FHS bloods done?

The doctor said to be mindful of when in the cycle to have them taken but stupidly at the time I didn't ask the obivous question of when that was didn't think about it until after.

I have day 21 in my head for something I had done 8 or so years ago but that may not have been for the same thing.
I'm day 23 now so if it is day 21 I will have to wait until next month.

LH and FSH should be taken ideally on day 2 or 3 of the cycle along with these levels being compared against each other. It is no point looking at these separately.

Day 21 is usually used for measuring progesterone levels.
