I have been prescribed this for 6 weeks to delay my period.

Has anyone take this and what were the side effects? Am particularly worried about feeling anxious or depressed while on it.

I had it for ten days. I didn't have any side effects actually so I can't really tell you anything.

Thanks anyway 🙏🏻

I've had it for shorter periods with no adverse effects. The only difference was that it made my period lighter than normal

I've emailed my OBGYN and he says if I want I can just take it if I start bleeding badly on holiday.

Don't you have to start it before to prevent bleeding starting rather than take once it has started? I know that is the case with norethisterone

I think it can lessen the flow once it starts.

I was prescribed Provera to bring on a period in order to start a round of clomid.

WipsGlitter · 01/08/2018 21:23

Yes. That seems to be the most common use for it.

I took provera a lot and didn't seem to have any noticeable side effects. Clomid gave me hot flashes at night but that was it Smile
