I'm fast approaching 50 and over the last year or so I've noticed that a back upper molar tooth starts to hurt (as in very, very sensitive), when I eat or drink or have anything hot or cold.
Seen the dentist and they took an X ray. No decay, but gums are exposing the dentine.
Three weeks of each month I have no problems and then a few days before my periods I'm in agony!
Sharp stabbing pain for over 10-15 minutes, then it goes away for half and hour and then comes back.
ALL DAY LONG!
I seem to only get relief when my period starts. I've now resorted to taking aspirin and codene to cope with it.
Do you have a similar experience? Does it go away once the menapause starts properly?
