Spreading rash down below - thrush?

So apologies in advance for the TMI, but basically I've found myself with a very angry fanjo. I had my period last week and used my Mooncup, which I'm pretty new to and found myself adjusting/removing/reinserting regularly as I couldn't quite get it comfortable. I'm pretty sure this excessive interference down there caused the episode of thrush that I was blessed with a few days later. However before the full symptoms of thrush showed themselves, I developed a red, sore, itchy rash across my pubic area. Once the thrush came along, I assumed it was linked but I've since used Canesten Oral (which has cured the internal situation) but the rash still hasn't budged. It's now spreading to my inner thighs and is pretty unbearable to be honest. I've tried Canesten cream, e45, nappy rash cream, even yoghurt, all to no avail. Does anyone have any experience of this, or any tips that might help a girl out? Seriously considering a fanjo transplant at this point. TIA!
