Slightly outing to those who know my history, but feel like it needs to be there to give the full story. And sorry in advance it's long
A few years ago I was getting pain on the right side through out the month, a pulling tugging pain.
The drs told me I was stressed, cut out caffeine/alcohol and changed my pill many times- causing never ending migraines.
Eventually about 6 different drs later and being asked out right what I thought was wrong, and then pretty much laughed at for suggesting an ovary issue, I was referred for a scan.
9cm dermoid cyst, left ovary and tube removed within the month of finding it.
No one could answer why there was pain on the right. But obviously because of the surgery had all sorts of pains through out the month for a little while after.
Then suffered a miscarriage 4 months after the surgery, conceived again straight away, had an ectopic scare. Had a cyst on the other side which has cleared.
Now DD is 6mo, I tried to go back on the pill because I was getting the right side pain again, and having tracked it for a couple of months felt it could be ovulation.
The pill made me so sick and I was vomiting in the morning and suffering migraines again. So no longer taking
But now the pain in the middle of my cycle is agony, last night it kept me up all night, cramping, pain lower right back/hip area. Struggle to straighten up, the pain is on par with the worse part of my period.
Does any body else experience this much pain? Have you been investigated for bad ovulation pain?
I'm so nervous to go to the drs, I feel like I'm not going to be listened to again, but very scared something could affect my fertility. I mentioned the pain to the nurse when I went for a check and she just shrugged it off as one of those things
TIA and sorry again for the novel!
