Blocked duct or more serious?

Around the middle of May I noticed a small pea sized lump on the edge of my areola as I was pumping. It was never visible again and I forgot about it until about two/three weeks ago when I saw it again when feeding. Since then it’s been visible and I just noticed it now standing in front of the mirror.

My partner thinks it could be a blocked duct, but I have zero pain, and it’s been around for so long, I would’ve thought it would have gone by now?

I’m thinking I should probably get it checked out, but I don’t know if it could just be something really common that I don’t know about and could be wasting the GPs time?

Thank you... I got it checked today. It is apparently a cyst. Doctor said nothing untoward about it, and it appears to be under the skin, go back in a few weeks if it hasn’t disappeared but he thinks it should go naturally.

Thank you for your reply!

Well done for going but do take GPs advice and go back if not gone. I had a cyst recently, had ultrasound and they aspirated it to nothing. Worth it for peace of mind. I had no pain either.
