Why am I seeing the breast nurse?

I've got a lump at the top of my breast. I've a history of fibroids but this felt different.
After mammogram, scan and biopsy at the hospital I was booked a telephone appointment for the biopsy results.
Only now the telephone appointment has been cancelled and I've got to see the breast nurse. Has anyone had this?
The person who rang couldn't tell me why I need to see her. I'm worried now

Thing is, every hospital and trust and consultant does things differently. My oncologist (been under her for 4 years) never calls with any results be they good or bad. She likes to see people in clinic.

I can’t help in this situ and I know it’s hard to not worry. There could be a number of reasons, it could be inconclusive and they need to repeat it?

I don't know. The tests day I was booked in for "the clinic". Saw the consultant before and after the tests.
I was given the choice of results in person or over the phone and booked a specific time for the call.
