Painful boob

Hi all. A few weeks ago on holiday I noticed that one of my boobs was really painful if I pressed it and felt hard and lumpy inside. I forgot all about it until yesterday evening. It still feels hard and lumpy and painful to the touch. I'm also getting sharp pain without touching it. I am quite young so I don't think it could be breast cancer. It also feels like my whole boob is hard and lumpy rather than one hard lump. However, my aunt did have breast cancer. Anyone else had this symptom before. They both look completely normal.

I would 100% get checked out, it's probably nothing but with family history of breast cancer I would definitely get a doctors opinion. Good luck.

Get it checked. I did and now have a baseline mammogram for the condition of my boobs, so we can spot anything early.

My pain was an infected cyst, drained the same day and all sorted.

This may be just cyclical pain related to hormones and periods.

I had similar last year and had mammogram and sonogram to check a lump which hurt and they confirmed it was related to hormones.

I now take starflower oil to help.

However, you should get it checked out to be sure.
