Hi everyone, I received a letter today saying I have to come for colposcopy again.
Since 2015 I have had abnormal smears, I first had CIN1 and had cold coagulation. 10 months later I then had CIN2 and I finally had to have a loop excision.
I am absolutely desperate for a baby. My partner and I have planned to start trying in November as I am going on a family holiday next month in a flaming zika zone (I have another active post). They advise to wait 2 months post travel for the female to start trying.
What's worrying me is what's next for colposcopy? What can they do that isn't going to affect my fertility? They will probs have to clear the area again with another loop excision which can affect my cervix during pregnancy etc.
I'm just worried sick and absolutely sick of this.
Any one got any experience with this? What happened? Are u okay? Were your pregnancies okay?
